Richard joined Lavendon Baptist in 2018 while finishing his (formal) training as a Baptist minister. He was ordained and formally inducted into the church, in July 2019.
Richard is married to Clare and they have a teenage son. Outside church, Richard enjoys photography, travel and is intending to finally get back into playing golf.
Richard’s background was in financial services, running IT and business projects for a management consultancy firm. Richard left this in the mid noughties to be a stay at home dad, while also leading the youthwork in a church in Welwyn Garden City.
Please note: Richard works part time for the church and his non working days are generally Mondays, Fridays and Saturdays although this is flexed as situations and needs arise.
