Sundays @ 10.30am – Sunday Service

We meet at the Union Chapel building in the centre of the village of Lavendon, right next to the memorial cross. The Address is High Street, Lavendon, MK46 4HA and if you drive then parking would be at the village hall.

Services generally last around an hour, will have a mix of singing, prayers, a talk/sermon and a chance to find out a bit of what is going on in the life of the church. Most weeks children will have separate activities put on for them for the 2nd half of the service, run by safeguarding checked people within the church.

There is no dress code, casual through to collar and tie will probably be on display so essentially whatever you would be comfortable in! We have communion on the first Sunday of each month, and if you aren’t sure what that is then it is something we do with bread and wine to remember what Jesus had done for us (the practicalities are explained at the time).

Tuesday @ 7.30pm – Weekly study group

We’ve recently switched to meeting at the church for a weekly bible study on a Tuesday evening.

This is a chance to look into topics more deeply than we do on a Sunday morning, but also the chance to catch up over a tea/coffee and get to know people a bit better.

(1st) Monday @7.30pm – Monthly prayer and pint

On the first Monday of each month we meet to pray together at the church before heading over to the Green Man to continue the conversation and spend time with each other. If you can’t make it for 7.30 at the church it’s 8.30 at the pub.

Thursday @10.00am – Lavendon Baby and Toddler group

A weekly toddler group that meets at the church and is a friendly meeting place for local parents and carers to bring the little ones where they can play, interact and do crafts.
