A short service marking Good Friday. A Tenebrae service is one that recognises the extinguishing of light on Good Friday and comes from the latin word meaning shadows or darkness. We know that the light returns, that Sunday is coming, but Good Friday demonstrates that God understands us in the tough times, that He is there in the darkness and that He loves us so much he will seek us out in the dark places to rescue us.
